The Story Behind.
Our community's roots go back to 2021, when Samuel S. Bauer founded the ICCS Sports Academy, a school fully focused on modern self-defense. His mission: to give people in Zurich a new sense of confidence, especially in moments when they feel unsure or powerless.
Then came summer 2023 and with it a game-changing encounter. Sam met Ruben Crawford, a former professional MMA fighter. Two very different backgrounds, but one shared mission: to teach martial arts in a supportive, empowering environment and help people become truly strong.
From this fusion, IMPACT Martial Arts was born. More than just a gym, more than just a studio. A home for anyone who wants to grow. A safe place to develop strength. A community where no one fights alone.
